Kongu Public School, Karumathampatti, Coimbatore, aims to be the pioneer of educational institution dedicatedly committed towards nurturing & fostering eminence. We strive for excellence in each & every endeavor so as to achieve transcendence. I, Radha .R principal of the school take immense pleasure & pride present you a report of our activities & achievements for the year 2025-26.
The school focuses on providing an authentic learning environment where students apply knowledge & skills from multiple disciplines so as to widen their knowledge. We focus on both curricular & co-curricular activities where students are trained to have within their responsibility, loyalty, team spirit & healthy competition.
The academic year was conducted through regular classroom instruction, ensuring a structured and effective teaching–learning process. A positive and disciplined learning environment was maintained throughout the year, supporting the holistic development of students.
The faculty at KPS comprises of well qualified, learned & empathetic learners with a desire to share the love of their subject with the students. We are fortunate to have faculty of teachers who is ever eager to improve & adapt to new challenges and demands so as to bring out the best in their students.
Creativity and Innovation are the bench marks in the field of Pedagogy & we continuously strive to incorporate it.
Academic Activities:
The school accords highest priority to academic achievement. Planned and sustained measures are implemented to ensure effective curriculum delivery and optimal student performance. Excellence in academics continues to define the ethos of the school.
Academic Result:
The student of Kongu Public School demonstration commendable performance in the Board Examinations for the academic year 2024-25.The consistent guidance of teachers disciplined learning practices and the dedicated efforts of student result in excellent academic outcomes.
Grade X
FIRST – RIYATANISHKA S S secured 486 marks out of 500, demonstrating excellent academic proficiency.
SECOND – GAYATHRI N and Nikita S P secured 475 marks out of 500, achieving a commendable position.
THIRD – VEDHAVARNA S K secured 471 marks out of 500 with a notable performance.
Grade XII
FIRST – AKASH R M secured 490 marks out of 500, emerging as the School First. His exceptional achievement highlights his consistent hard work, strong conceptual clarity, and dedication towards academic excellence.
SECOND – SHIVASENTHIL A secured 483 marks out of 500, securing the Second Position. His performance stands as a testimony to his perseverance, focus, and commitment to learning.
THIRD – DIVYADASHINI S B secured 471 marks out of 500, earning the Third Position. Her commendable result reflects her determination, effective time management, and academic competence.
The school congratulates the achievers on their remarkable success and extends heartfelt appreciation to the teachers and parents whose constant support and guidance played a vital role in these accomplishments.
SOF Olympiad
Our student has delivered an exceptional performance in the Olympiad examinations. 51students earned gold medals in English, 46 in Mathematics, 58 in science,17 in social science, 4 in computer science , 7 in general knowledge.
This remarkable achievement highlights the student’s commitment to excellence the tireless efforts of our teachers, and the schools strong academic foundation
Training, Seminars, Orientation & Counseling:
Every academic year, training programmes, seminars, and orientation sessions are organized for teachers and students to strengthen professional competencies and to promote innovative teaching–learning practices. These initiatives aim to enhance instructional effectiveness and extend students’ learning beyond prescribed curricular levels.
During the current academic year, teachers actively participated in all mandatory CBSE workshops as well as training programmes conducted by reputed publication houses through online mode. Online counselling sessions were also organized to support students’ academic and emotional well-being.
Nature in Our Hand:
The school focused on fostering environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility among students. Through various activities, they were guided to appreciate the importance of protecting nature and adopting eco-friendly habits. As part of this initiative, students celebrated their birthdays by bringing plants to the school, contributing to a greener and more sustainable campus.
Celebrations:
In order to inculcate the values of national integration, international understanding, and appreciation of religious and cultural diversity, the school observed and celebrated various national, religious, and cultural festivals. These activities contributed to the development of social awareness, tolerance, and respect for diversity among students.
National Festivals:
The school celebrated national occasions such as Independence Day, Teacher’s Day, Republic Day, and Gandhi Jayanti to instill a sense of patriotism and respect for national values. Alongside these, class assemblies, teacher-led talks, and various competitions were conducted regularly to encourage student participation, creativity, and holistic development.
Religious Festivals:
Students actively participated in the celebration of major religious festivals, including Holi, Eid, Diwali, Janmashtami, Dussehra, Good Friday, Gurunanak Jayanti, and Pongal, promoting cultural awareness and unity. The school also marked important global and national events such as International Yoga Day, Women’s Day, Earth Day, Hindi Diwas, and Road Safety Day through specially organized activities and competitions.
Club Activities:
Elangovadigal Tamil Literary Club was conducted on 15th June 2024, Thirukkural recitation, Speech and Debate.
Heritage club activity was conducted on 17th August 2024. Students participated in various activities & competitions like General quiz, Bouquet making, Show your talent were conducted
PCRA Drawing competition was organized on the theme “Mission Bharath” – Clean India.
Aryabhatta club activities were conducted on 5th October 2024. Students participated various competitions & project on great Mathematician was done.
Einstein club activity was organized on 19th October 2024.Various activities like Quiz, Poster Making, Reflection Journal and Wealth out Of Waste were conducted.
Integrity club activity was conducted on 15th November 2024.
Story writing –“VEERGATHA” was organized for grade 1- IX.
Digital Club Activity conducted on 9th November 2024, Students participated. Various activities like model making, Talk on emerging trends and Debugging.
Rangeen Roop activity conducted on 9th November 2024 students participated various Framing Letters, Poster Making, and Film Making.
Students explored on Culture, History, Tradition, and Tourist places of paired State West Bengal through wall magazine, graphical representation & models.
Students were exposed to songs, alphabets, Essay writing competition, folk theatre, drama, role play, talks by students, Questions & answer, Scrap book activity, toy making, folk painting, water conservation, street play virtual tours were organized for the students of Grade kg – IX and XI.
Conclusion:
As we conclude this report, we acknowledge with gratitude the constant support and cooperation extended by our correspondent, teaching and non-teaching staff, students, and parents.
